It started with one $300 pallet
Hi, I'm Taylor. In 2015 my wife was pregnant, and we were doing the math on daycare. We needed about a thousand dollars a month in extra income so she could stay home with our daughter.
She bought something on Facebook Marketplace that was still in its original packaging, and the seller mentioned it came from a liquidation warehouse. She asked where. That one question changed everything.
A few days later I walked into my first liquidation warehouse and spent two hours checking prices on my phone. We went home with a $300 pallet of humidifiers, sold enough from our garage to get our money back, and went back the next week for another.
From a garage to six stores
That garage turned into storage units, then a 6,000 square foot storefront in 2017, then a 15,000 square foot showroom with a line out the door on opening day. Over the next few years we grew to six retail locations and a website, doing over $1 million a year in sales and serving thousands of customers across the Cincinnati area.
When the furniture market turned, we closed the stores and started over, smaller and more focused. Today it is back to what worked from day one: finding great products at great prices and treating every customer like a neighbor.
What we do now
Tribbles Treasures sells designer handbags, hair tools, health and beauty, and home essentials, sourced from retail liquidation: overstock, customer returns and shelf pulls from major US retailers. You will also find us live on Whatnot and on eBay.
After more than 10 years in liquidation, I know which sources are worth buying from and which ones are not. That experience is what goes into every item in this shop.
